「未成年人應禁止使用社群媒體？」 是近年全球熱議的核心社會議題。本辯題曾多次出現在世界模擬聯合國會議（WorldMUN） 及歐洲青年議會（EYP） 等國際頂尖青年論壇，並在澳洲2025年通過相關立法後引發更廣泛的國際討論。
2026亞太青年辯論錦標賽，面向全球青少年開放的線上個人辯論比賽。參賽者選擇正方（支持）或反方（反對）立場，拍攝一段不超過4分鐘的個人觀點論述影片參賽。

"Should minors be banned from using social media?" is a globally debated topic at the heart of today's social conversations. This motion has been discussed multiple times at leading international youth forums such as WorldMUN and the European Youth Parliament (EYP) , and it sparked even broader international debate after Australia passed relevant legislation in 2025.
2026 Asia-Pacific Youth Debating Championship is an online individual debating competition open to young people around the world. Participants choose to take either the Proposition (In favor) or Opposition (Against) stance, and submit a video of up to 4 minutes presenting their personal arguments.
This tournament aims to encourage the younger generation to engage with core global issues, while strengthening logical reasoning, expression, and communication skills. From breaking down complex issues into core arguments and building a solid case, to delivering your ideas clearly and persuasively within a limited time—these are essential skills for both academic success and future careers. At the 2026 Asia-Pacific Youth Debating Championship, we can't wait to hear your voice.

Debate Topic: Should minors be banned from using social media? (*World MUNe & EYP Debate Topics)
- Participants may choose to argue for either the Pro (in support) or Con (against) position, and submit a personal argument video of no more than 4 minutes to enter the competition.
- The competition is conducted on an individual basis. All entries must be completed independently by the participant; team submissions are not permitted.

作品要求 Requirement
1. 立場選擇。針對辯題：「未成年人應禁止使用社群媒體？」參賽者選擇 【正方（支持）】或【反方（反對）】立場，拍攝一段 不【超過4分鐘】 的【個人】立場觀點論述影片。
2. 語言：英文 或 中文 (粵語/普通話) 均可。
3. 影片中必須為參賽者本人，必須清楚錄影到參賽者樣貌。必須明確表達所選立場（正方或反方）。
4. 錄影格式為720P或以上。影片需現場錄音，不得後期配音，參賽作品必須由參賽者本人獨立完成，不得使用他人代講或AI生成語音。可有伴奏或背景音樂，可輔以圖片、數據、案例或簡單道具來增強論證效果。
5. 每位參賽者只可遞交一份參賽作品。如多於一份參賽作品，以最早收到的一份為準，其餘作廢，並不作另行通知。參賽作品不能含有淫褻、暴力、色情、誹謗、粗言穢語、不雅、侮辱成分、宣傳商業或政治元素或任何具爭議性及不恰當之內容及任何違法內容。任何不合規格或與比賽無關的影片將一律取消資格。參賽作品如存在任何違法行為責任由參賽者自行負擔，與主辦單位無關。
1. Position SelectionFor the debate topic: “Should minors be banned from using social media?”Participants shall choose either the Pro (in support) or Con (against) position, and submit a video within 4 minutes presenting personal arguments and viewpoints.
2. Language: English or Chinese (Cantonese / Mandarin) are both acceptable.
3. The video must feature the participant in person, with a clear view of the participant’s face. The chosen position (Pro or Con) must be clearly stated.
4. Video Recording Resolution: 720P or above.Audio must be recorded live on-site; post-dubbing is not allowed.
The entry must be completed independently by the participant. Voice acting by others or AI-generated voices are prohibited. Background music or accompaniment is permitted. Pictures, data, cases or simple props may be used to strengthen the argument.
5. Each participant may submit only one entry. If multiple entries are received, only the earliest submission will be accepted; all others will be disqualified without prior notice.Entries must not contain obscene, violent, pornographic, defamatory, vulgar, indecent, insulting content, commercial or political promotion, any controversial or inappropriate material, or any illegal content.
Any non-compliant or irrelevant video will be disqualified.Participants shall bear full legal responsibility for any unlawful content in their submissions, and the organizer shall not be held liable.
評分標準 Judging Criteria
評審將根據參賽者觀點明確性，論證邏輯性，表達說服力，語言流暢度，論據嚴密有力，內容深度及創意等範疇作出綜合評分。比賽成績將根據各評審總分平均計算。評審團成員包括本協會顧問、高校代表、各辦學團體以及業界資深人士。本協會信任並尊重評判根據其專業及經驗而作出的最後判斷。評審對一切事宜保有最終決定權，其評分為最終決定，參賽者必須尊重及接受。
Judges will score participants based on a comprehensive evaluation of the following criteria: clarity of position, logical reasoning, persuasive power, fluency of expression, strength and rigor of arguments, depth of content, and creativity.. The Competition results will be calculated based on the average total scores from all judges. The judging panel comprises association advisors, university representatives, various educational organizations, and industry professionals. The association trusts and respects the judges' final decisions made based on their professional expertise and experience. The judges retain ultimate decision-making authority on all matters, with their scoring being final, and all participants must respect and accept these decisions.
** 參賽作品須由參賽者本人創作完成。每位參賽者每個項目只可遞交一份參賽作品。如多於一份參賽作品，以最早收到的一份為準，其餘作廢，並不作另行通知。參賽作品不能含有淫褻、暴力、色情、誹謗、不良意識、侮辱成分、宣傳商業或政治元素或任何具爭議性及不恰當之內容。如違規者，主辦單位和評審委員有權取消其參賽資格。The submitted work must be created and completed by the participant themselves. Each participant/Category may only submit one entry. If more than one entry is submitted, only the earliest one received will be considered, and the others will be discarded without further notice. The submitted work must not contain obscene, violent, sexual, defamatory, inappropriate content, commercial or political elements, or any controversial and inappropriate material. In case of violations, the organizers and judges have the right to disqualify the participant.
獎項及榮譽 Awards
1.全組別冠軍：不分組別，佔所有參賽者約2% Overall Champion：~2% of all participants
2.金獎：佔組別參賽者數約8% Gold Award：~ 8% of participants in each division
3.銀獎：佔組別參賽者數約10% Silver Award：~10% of participants in each division
4.銅獎：佔組別參賽者數約12% Bronze Award：~12% of participants in each division.
5.優異獎 （未獲以上獎項的參賽者）Merit Award: For those not receiving the above awards.
**最佳教育獎：推薦參賽者達5名或以上,有機會獲得評選資格
Best Education Award: who recommend 5 or more participants will be eligible for the award selection.

其他條款 Other Terms and Conditions 1.參賽者（包括未成年參賽者的父母和老師）須明瞭和同意本次比賽的規則和章程。參賽者如有違反任何比賽規則，主辦單位和評審委員會有權取消其參賽資格。 2.參賽者嚴禁虛報年齡，倘發現參賽者之報名資格與真實年齡及參賽組別不相符,主辦單位和評審委員有權取消該參賽者相關項目的參賽資格。 3.參賽作品必須為原創，及不會侵犯第三者的權利(包括知識產權、保密權或私隱權)。參賽者需明白所提交參賽作品如有侵犯知識產權，而導致任何相關法律行動、索償及支出參賽者須負全責。 4.一經報名參加是次比賽，即表示參賽者已同意並授權本會保留及使用參賽者比賽中之照片及錄像作教育及宣傳用途，包括本會的所有出版刊物、本會網站及社交網站；和於本會刊物，包括本會網站及社交網站，刊登及公佈得獎者的姓名及有關資料。凡繳交作品參與比賽者，即代表同意遵守活動規則及同意本會依法蒐集、處理其個人資料。 5.本會保留對比賽總規和章程的最終解釋權。保留更改以上所有條款內容及詮釋比賽規則之權利而無須另行通知。所有獎項將由主辦機構評判之評審決定為最終依歸，若有任何有關本活動的爭議發生，任何人士均不得異議。 6.比賽得獎結果將以電郵，並於此網站上刊登；訂製獎項將於訂製截止後兩個月內派發，所有比賽獎項一經簽收或領取，如有任何損壞或遺失，將不獲補發；如因填寫資料有誤或無法順利聯繫，以致包裹無法投遞，主辦方概不負責。 7. 如有任何爭議，本協會將保留最終決定權。 1.Participants (including parents and teachers of minor participants) must understand and agree to the rules and regulations of this competition. If a participant violates any competition rules, the Organizer and Jury Panel reserve the right to disqualify them. 2.Participants are strictly prohibited from falsifying their age. Should a participant’s registration eligibility be inconsistent with their actual age or the designated age group, the Organizer and Jury Panel reserve the right to disqualify the participant from the relevant event(s). 3.All entries must be original works and shall not infringe upon the rights of third parties (including intellectual property rights, confidentiality rights, or privacy rights). Participants acknowledge that they shall bear full responsibility for any legal actions, claims, or expenses arising from intellectual property infringement related to their submitted entries. 4.By registering for this competition, participants hereby agree to and authorize the Organizer to retain and use their photos and videos captured during the competition for educational and promotional purposes, including but not limited to the Organizer’s publications, official website, and social media platforms. The Organizer is also authorized to publish and announce the names and relevant information of winners in its publications, official website, and social media platforms. By submitting entries to the competition, participants agree to abide by the event rules and consent to the Organizer’s collection and processing of their personal data in accordance with applicable laws. 5.The Organizer reserves the final right of interpretation of the competition’s general rules and regulations. It also reserves the right to modify all the above terms and interpret the competition rules without prior notice. All awards are determined solely by the Organizer’s Jury Panel, whose decisions shall be final. No objections will be entertained regarding any disputes arising from this event. 6.Competition results will be notified via email and published on this website. Custom-made awards will be distributed within two months after the deadline for customization. Once an award is received or collected, no replacement will be provided for any damage or loss. The Organizer shall not be liable for undelivered parcels due to incorrect information provided or failure to make contact. 7.In case of any disputes, the Organizer reserves the final decision-making power.
