Calligraphy is the sublimation of the written word and a refinement of the mind. Every stroke hones inner focus and deepens artistic appreciation. The 2026 International Lanting Calligraphy Awards invites youth and calligraphy enthusiasts from around the world to transcend language and geographic boundaries, celebrating the aesthetics of diverse script traditions.

漢字書法 Chinese Calligraphy
涵蓋傳統毛筆書法與現代硬筆書法。展現漢字結構的剛柔並濟、墨色變化與氣韻生動，寄託東方哲學的深遠意境。
Encompassing both traditional brush and modern hard pen calligraphy, this category showcases the balance of strength and grace, subtle ink tonal variations, and dynamic rhythm in Chinese characters—reflecting the profound depth of Eastern philosophy.

涵蓋英語硬筆書法、拉丁字母古典書法藝術（如哥德體、銅板體、拉丁文手抄本）至現代字體設計，呈獻西方線條藝術的嚴謹比例與流暢韻律。
Ranging from English hard-pen and classical script arts (such as Gothic, Copperplate, and Latin illumination) to contemporary lettering, this category presents the precise proportions and fluid harmony of Western letterforms.

作品要求 Requirement
1. 書寫內容不限、字體不限、格式不限。自選書寫筆具及紙張。
2. 參賽作品須由參賽者本人獨立完成。歡迎使用其他賽事之參賽作品。每位參賽者每個項目只可遞交一份參賽作品。如多於一份參賽作品，以最早收到的一份為準，其餘作廢，並不作另行通知。參賽者有責任確保所提交的檔案有效。參賽作品不能含有淫褻、暴力、色情、誹謗、不良意識、侮辱成分、宣傳商業或政治元素或任何具爭議性及不恰當之內容。任何不合規格或與比賽無關之作品將一律取消其參賽資格。參賽作品如存在任何違法行為責任由參賽者自行負擔，與主辦單位無關。
1. There are no restrictions on content, typeface, or format. participant choose own writing instruments and paper.
2. All entries must be original works created solely by the participant. Entry previously entered in other competitions are welcome. Each participant may submit only one entry per category. If multiple entries are received for the same category, only the earliest submission will be accepted; all subsequent entries will be disqualified without prior notice. Participants are responsible for ensuring that all submitted files are valid and accessible. Submissions must not contain any obscene, violent, pornographic, defamatory, inappropriate, offensive, commercial, political, or controversial content. Any submission that fails to meet the specifications or is irrelevant to the competition will be disqualified immediately. Participants shall assume full legal responsibility for any unlawful acts related to their submitted works. The organizers bear no liability whatsoever.
評分標準 Judging Criteria
評審將根據參賽者作品作品筆法（字體端正、規範、美觀，比例大小一致）, 技巧（書寫及運筆技巧，筆鋒轉折，筆墨輕重，筆劃精確性，粗細變化）, 結構（字體結構、整體佈局、疏密編排，內容完整，無錯字） 等範疇作出綜合評分。比賽成績將根據各評審總分平均計算。評審團成員包括本協會顧問、高校代表、各辦學團體指導教師以及業界資深人士。本協會信任並尊重評判根據其專業及經驗而作出的最後判斷。評審對一切事宜保有最終決定權，其評分為最終決定，參賽者必須尊重及接受。
JJudges will make overall comprehensive score based on the participants' Brushwork (Font style is upright, standard, and aesthetically pleasing; consistent proportions); Techniques (Writing and stroke techniques, turning of the brush tip, control of ink weight, accuracy of strokes, variations in thickness); Structure (Font structure, overall layout, spacing arrangement, completeness of content, and absence of typos). The Competition results will be calculated based on the average total scores from all judges. The judging panel comprises association advisors, university representatives, various educational organizations' teachers, and industry professionals. The association trusts and respects the judges' final decisions made based on their professional expertise and experience. The judges retain ultimate decision-making authority on all matters, with their scoring being final, and all participants must respect and accept these decisions.

1. 金獎及全組別冠軍：佔組別參賽者數約5% Gold Award And The Overall Champion：5% of participants in each division;
2. 金獎：佔組別參賽者數約5% Gold Award：~ 5% of participants in each division;
3. 銀獎：佔組別參賽者數約10% Silver Award：~10% of participants in each division;
4. 銅獎：佔組別參賽者數約10% Bronze Award：~10% of participants in each division.
5. 優異獎 （未獲以上獎項的參賽者）Merit Award: For those not receiving the above awards.
**最佳教育獎：推薦參賽者達5名或以上,有機會獲得評選資格
Best Education Award: who recommend 5 or more participants will be eligible for the award selection.

賽事提供【電子證書、實體證書、獎盃 】獎項定制，優勝者可根據個人需求選擇定制項目。
定制費用已包含香港、澳門、台灣、中國內地、馬來西亞、新加坡之運費 (不含稅金)，其餘海外地區運費需由收件方額外預先支付。

The competition offers customized awards including [e-certificates, physical certificates, and trophies]. Winners may choose to customize based on personal preferences.
Customization fees cover shipping fee for Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Mainland China, Malaysia, and Singapore (exclude tax). For other regions shipping charges are not included and must be prepaid by the recipient.

其他條款 Other Terms and Conditions 1.參賽者（包括未成年參賽者的父母和老師）須明瞭和同意本次比賽的規則和章程。參賽者如有違反任何比賽規則，主辦單位和評審委員會有權取消其參賽資格。 2.參賽者嚴禁虛報年齡，倘發現參賽者之報名資格與真實年齡及參賽組別不相符,主辦單位和評審委員有權取消該參賽者相關項目的參賽資格。 3.參賽作品必須為原創，及不會侵犯第三者的權利(包括知識產權、保密權或私隱權)。參賽者需明白所提交參賽作品如有侵犯知識產權，而導致任何相關法律行動、索償及支出參賽者須負全責。 4.一經報名參加是次比賽，即表示參賽者已同意並授權本會保留及使用參賽者比賽中之照片及錄像作教育及宣傳用途，包括本會的所有出版刊物、本會網站及社交網站；和於本會刊物，包括本會網站及社交網站，刊登及公佈得獎者的姓名及有關資料。凡繳交作品參與比賽者，即代表同意遵守活動規則及同意本會依法蒐集、處理其個人資料。 5.本會保留對比賽總規和章程的最終解釋權。保留更改以上所有條款內容及詮釋比賽規則之權利而無須另行通知。所有獎項將由主辦機構評判之評審決定為最終依歸，若有任何有關本活動的爭議發生，任何人士均不得異議。 6.比賽得獎結果將以電郵，並於此網站上刊登；訂製獎項將於訂製截止後兩個月內派發，所有比賽獎項一經簽收或領取，如有任何損壞或遺失，將不獲補發；如因填寫資料有誤或無法順利聯繫，以致包裹無法投遞，主辦方概不負責。 7. 如有任何爭議，本協會將保留最終決定權。 1.Participants (including parents and teachers of minor participants) must understand and agree to the rules and regulations of this competition. If a participant violates any competition rules, the Organizer and Jury Panel reserve the right to disqualify them. 2.Participants are strictly prohibited from falsifying their age. Should a participant’s registration eligibility be inconsistent with their actual age or the designated age group, the Organizer and Jury Panel reserve the right to disqualify the participant from the relevant event(s). 3.All entries must be original works and shall not infringe upon the rights of third parties (including intellectual property rights, confidentiality rights, or privacy rights). Participants acknowledge that they shall bear full responsibility for any legal actions, claims, or expenses arising from intellectual property infringement related to their submitted entries. 4.By registering for this competition, participants hereby agree to and authorize the Organizer to retain and use their photos and videos captured during the competition for educational and promotional purposes, including but not limited to the Organizer’s publications, official website, and social media platforms. The Organizer is also authorized to publish and announce the names and relevant information of winners in its publications, official website, and social media platforms. By submitting entries to the competition, participants agree to abide by the event rules and consent to the Organizer’s collection and processing of their personal data in accordance with applicable laws. 5.The Organizer reserves the final right of interpretation of the competition’s general rules and regulations. It also reserves the right to modify all the above terms and interpret the competition rules without prior notice. All awards are determined solely by the Organizer’s Jury Panel, whose decisions shall be final. No objections will be entertained regarding any disputes arising from this event. 6.Competition results will be notified via email and published on this website. Custom-made awards will be distributed within two months after the deadline for customization. Once an award is received or collected, no replacement will be provided for any damage or loss. The Organizer shall not be liable for undelivered parcels due to incorrect information provided or failure to make contact. 7.In case of any disputes, the Organizer reserves the final decision-making power.
